We use the latest technology to detect latent moisture in your roofing system and provide high resolution CAD diagrams and photos with our analysis.

If your organization experiences a leaky roof, it may be an indication that its insulation and construction aren't sound. Aside from the fact that you may encounter problems with mold that may cause significant health problems for your people, you will likely be forced to spend a significant amount of money on repairs and services.
That’s why IRSC recommends being proactive, especially if your building is in a geographic area that experiences regular precipitation. We'll help you identify areas of saturation or near-saturation in your roof before real damage occurs using an infrared camera designed to detect latent moisture held within the roofing materials.
A typical infrared moisture survey is performed by one of our trained thermographers using an infrared camera. Upon completion of the survey, you will receive a detailed report that includes a summary of the findings, our recommendations, and budget projections.
A full-sized roof sketch is also developed showing principal rooftop penetrations and locations of wet material.
IRSC’s Infrared Moisture Surveys are comprised of the following features:
- Visual evaluations and collection of core samples
- Scanning, verification, and moisture location results in 2-4 days
- Outlines of thermographic photo evidence in existing trouble areas
- Independent lab testing of core samples (particularly when asbestos is suspected)
- Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IBEC) rating with 5-year repairs/replacement roadmap
